Hennessy Paradis x Loewe: a passion for craft
By Melita KielyCraftsmanship and culture combine as Hennessy Cognac embarks on its first collaboration with fashion house Loewe.

Being part of luxury goods company LVMH, it was inevitable the worlds of Hennessy Cognac and fashion would eventually meet. The new collaboration between Hennessy and Spanish fashion house Loewe celebrates a shared love of craft.
Hennessy Paradis is one of the brand’s most treasured Cognacs, created using some of the maison’s rarest eaux-de-vie. Inspired by sixth-generation master blender Maurice Fillioux’s love of classical music, Hennessy Paradis comprises more than 100 eaux-de-vie that, when blended, deliver a perfectly balanced, complex Cognac. Hennessy Paradis has aromas of floral notes, jasmine, cinnamon, and exotic fruit, leading to a silky texture with a flavourful, deep and persistent finish.
The attention to detail Hennessy is renowned for is a quality that Spanish atelier Loewe also prides itself on. For this special limited edition bottle, Loewe’s artisans spent more than 10 hours meticulously creating the leather ‘nests’ – or ‘burrs’ – to encase Hennessy Paradis. Each nest features up to 850 intricate knots, designed to represent the layers of meaning and flavour behind both brands. Each nest also honours the chestnut wood used to create Hennessy’s most precious barrels, as well as the signature colour of Loewe’s iconic leather goods.
Three designs have been crafted for the Hennessy X Loewe limited editions. Each aims to reflect the hues in the life cycle of chestnut: anise, amber, and chestnut.
Handcrafted case
The limited edition designs are available exclusively at the Hennessy Boutique in Harrods, London. The collection includes Hennessy’s first three-litre Paradis decanter, housed in a handcrafted Loewe leather case, adorned with a leather belt, neck clip, and a dedicated service ritual, including two glasses and a pipette. Also available are 700ml bottles of Hennessy Paradis, housed in the Loewe leather nests, for RRP £2,300 (US$3,000).
“This collaboration with Loewe is a celebration of the meticulous craftsmanship we put into every drop of Hennessy Paradis, and encapsulates our shared heritage in artful innovation,” says Laurent Boillot, CEO of Hennessy. “We’re excited to launch this collection and offer collectors and connoisseurs a unique sensory and aesthetic experience.” A true collector’s item, indeed.
