ALMOST 2,500 Aldi locations across the US will fall silent in the coming weeks in line with a springtime holiday.
Americans should take note so they don't have to suddenly change their shopping plans.
But, the closure will only be for 24 hours, meaning any change to opening hours will not be permanent.
Aldi stores will be closed on Easter Sunday, allowing workers to spend time with their families.
It is one of three holidays that supermarkets are closed.
Aldi stores are also closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

The chain has 2,489 locations across the US - with 235 of those located in Florida.
There are more than 120 Aldi supermarkets in Texas, and over 160 in Pennsylvania.
Ohio is home to 170 stores while there are over 100 in California, according to the chain’s store directory.
Those looking for a rival outlet to minimize the impact of the shutdown may struggle.

This is because Costco locations, Sam’s Club warehouses and Publix stores will also be closed.
It’s estimated that there are more than 1,400 Publix locations across the US.
Costco warehouses will also be closed on Memorial Day, which falls on May 26 this year.
Aldi shoppers have been warned that locations may run on a limited hours schedule on the federal holiday.
Costco warehouses are also closed on Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Not all retailers have announced their 2025 holiday schedules yet.
Last year, JCPenney, Kohl's, and Target locations were all closed on Easter Sunday.
Macy's, Michaels, and Marshalls outlets were also closed for the holiday.
Not all retailers close for Easter, however.
In 2024, Walmart stores were open as normal, as were Trader Joe’s and Kroger outlets.

Shoppers were warned that stores in those locations could see a change in opening hours.
Big Lots locations, Dollar General and Whole Foods outlets were open as normal.
