MANALAPAN, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman was hit by a truck while walking into a Publix grocery story in Manalapan in early March.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO), on March 11, a 41-year-old man in a truck was traveling southbound in the parking lot of Plaza Del Mar when he suddenly struck a woman.

The crash report says Janice Stein, 74, was getting out of her vehicle to walk across the parking lot and traveled into the path of the truck.
During the crash, the front of the truck crashed into the left side of the woman and continued to run over her. The driver slowed and stopped a short distance from where the crash occurred.
PBSO says the woman died on Monday.
