A man led officers of the Los Angeles Police Department on a chase in a flatbed truck through multiple areas of Southern California on Friday, hitting multiple vehicles before his arrest.According to NBC Los Angeles, the chase began near the University of Southern California in Exposition Park before it ended in Long Beach. The truck was allegedly stolen and an address on the side of the truck belonged to a business in Chula Vista. Aerial footage from NBC LA showed the driver driving the wrong way at times, sideswiping multiple vehicles, and damaging the tires by driving along a concrete berm. Watch raw footage of the police chase below:Just before the chase ended, the truck violently crashed into a vehicle that had the right of way in an intersection. The truck continued until it came to a rest in front of a business. The driver got out of the vehicle and walked at a normal pace for a couple of blocks until multiple officers converged on him and took him down.Additional details on the damage and injuries caused by the suspect were not immediately available.
