2025 Guide to Easter egg hunts in north central Wisconsin
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Several central Wisconsin communities and organizations have planned Easter egg hunts and other kid-friendly celebrations ahead of the holiday. Children may also have the chance to meet the Easter Bunny!
AMHERST
Join us at the Jensen Community Center, Sat. April 19 at 10 a.m. for a fun filled day hunting down eggs and meeting the Easter bunny! 4 age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9+.
ANTIGO
The City of Antigo Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 19th. Photos with the Easter Bunny start at 9:15 a.m., followed by the Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Over 5,000 stuffed easter eggs, and a chance to win prizes for each age group. All events are free with a canned food donation.
DORCHESTER
The Dorchester Public Library is hosting an Easter egg hunt and storytime on Saturday, March 29. Doors open at 9 a.m. with the egg hunt starting at 10 a.m. Bring your Easter baskets and camera for storytime, the egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny!
LOYAL
Hop on over To Loyal West Side Park, Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m. for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Loyal FBLA! Children 0-10 can participate, and visit the Easter Bunny!
MARSHFIELD
Hop into spring with Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield’s exciting Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 6 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This FREE event is open to children ages 3-12 and promises a fun-filled morning of egg hunting, games, and candy!
Join the Kiwanis Club of Marshfield for a fun egg hunt, games and greet the Easter Bunny at the Second Street Community Center! The event is Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and people can come and go as they please. Remember to bring a basket and camera!
The Easter Egg Hunt at Christ Lutheran Church will be held Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. for ages 2 - 3rd Grade. The public is welcome. The PUPPETS will do a short program in the gym, then the kids will be released to find their share of 1200 eggs hidden all over the building. Each child will also get a prize.
MERRILL
This fun-filled egg hunt takes place Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. inside the Smith Multi-Purpose Center at MARC. Surprises are hidden in every egg and the Easter Bunny will be available for photos!
Come out and enjoy a one-of-a kind egg hunt! Bring your friends and join us for a Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill on Saturday, April 5, 2025. There will be a morning full of glow-in-the dark fun for the whole family! Doors will open at 8:45a.m. and the first egg hunt time will begin at 9:00 a.m.
MOSINEE
Immanuel Lutheran’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is April 5th @ 10:00 a.m. Collect eggs, keep the candy, and leave with Easter-themed books and crafts. The event is FREE!
POLONIA
Registration begins at noon Sat. April 19, with the egg hunt starting at 1 p.m. at the Polonia Park Baseball Diamond. Age groups are 3 & under, 4-6 years & 7-10 years. The concession stand will be open for this event, selling food and beverages.
SCHOFIELD
Eggstravaganza 2025 at Covenant Community Presbyterian Church is a free experience for the entire family! Join us from 8:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12 for breaskfast, indoor timed egg hunts, Easter crafts and activities, face painting and a petting zoo. STEVENS POINT
This Stevens Point FFA are sponsoring their annual free Easter Egg Hunt April 5 at SPASH. 3500 eggs will be divided into 3 age groups (0-4, 5-8 and 9-12). Registration begins at 10 a.m. with egg hunts starting at 11:30 a.m. Eggs will be outside, so dress accordingly. Activities and games as well as a concession area will also be on site.
The annual Downtown Easter Egg Hunt will take place on The Square in downtown Stevens Point. It is free to the public and open to children ages 8 and under. Ages 3 and under will begin at 10:00 a.m., Ages 4-6 will begin at 10:05 a.m., Ages 7-8 will begin at 10:10 a.m.

Join TNT Speedway for a free and fun-filled event for all ages on Sat. April 12 from 10 a.m. - Noon! Meet the Easter bunny, sip on complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, and enjoy delicious donuts/snacks! Plus, don’t miss our raffle baskets and much more! Donations will beaccepted and all proceeds will go to Family Fun Night at the track, June 28, 2025.
TOMAHAWK
The VFW Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11:30 a.m. Sat. April 19 at the Tomahawk VFW. Lunch will follow at noon featuring hot dogs, chips and soda or water.
WAUSAU

This event is designed for kids of all ages and features a traditional Easter egg hunt along with exciting arts and crafts activities. Crafts begin Sat. April 19 at 9 a.m., and egg hunts will start at 10 a.m. Bring your Easter basket and get ready for some fun!
Come join the fun at Thrive Church as kids hunt for prize-filled eggs! Egg hunts are scheduled every 30 mins from 9 a.m. - Noon, Saturday, April 19. This family-friendly event is entirely free with crafts, bounce houses, snacks, petting zoo and prizes! Even the Easter Bunny will be there!

A free Incredible Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 19 on the turf at Greenheck Turner Community Center. RSVP is not required but appreciated for accurate counts. 5 age classes will hunt for eggs from 8-11 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos as well.
