Connecticut weather: Snow, rain expected today, later this week. See forecast
This week, Connecticut may see some springtime snow and sleet.
The National Weather Service said that today, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday, will see some rain, sleet and snow.
The detailed weather forecast said that earlier today will have seen a mixture of sleet and rain and that the rest of the day will just have rain in the Southern Connecticut area.
"Southeast wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%," the forecast said. "Little or no sleet accumulation expected."
What's the prediction for the rest of the week in Norwich?
Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to see some snow, but meteorologist Bill Goodman said it's not enough to worry about.
"Nothing of concern for any driving," Goodman said. "No accumulation."
Connecticut is set for partly cloudy skies for the rest of the week, with a chance of rain on the weekend, the forecast says.
