"We hope for your support in Euro-structures to implement significant projects for Europe's security," said the Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili, during a briefing held in Hungary with her Hungarian counterpart.

She thanked her colleague for the support.

"It is a great honor for me to be here. Thank you very much for your support and for your position regarding Georgia. We highly appreciate your support within the framework of the European Union and, of course, within the framework of bilateral relations. This year, we have intensive relations, and the future looks even better. We will soon have a meeting of the Economic Council, which is very important for strengthening the economic ties between our countries and discovering new opportunities. The indicators are good, but there is room for improvement. We will work in this direction, and I am sure that in the coming years, we will achieve better results in terms of improving economic cooperation. We eagerly await our next intergovernmental meeting in Budapest. It is a great opportunity to discuss what can be done in the context of cooperation in various areas. It is a clear example of how countries should cooperate with each other and work together to strengthen collaboration.

It is very important for Georgia to play its role in the middle corridor. We pay great attention to this project. Here in Hungary, I would like to mention our good cooperation when it comes to connectivity and cooperation between Georgia, Hungary, Romania, and Azerbaijan. This is very important, and we will continue working in this direction.

We hope for your support in Euro-structures to implement significant projects for Europe's security.

Peace is very important. Georgia is still facing the problem of occupation by Russia. This creates certain threats. We are working on peaceful solutions. As for integration into Europe, you said that this is the main strategic priority. Here, I would like to thank you for the support you provide in terms of expert assistance. This is very effective support," said Maka Bochorishvili.
