The YouTube group The Sidemen have had fans hooked on their screens for an entire week with their Netflix reality show.

Dubbed Inside, the series initially premiered as a livestream on their YouTube channel last year and has since transitioned to Netflix for its second season.

The show's format pits a group of social media influencers against each other in a house, all competing for a hefty £1 million prize fund.

To add to the tension, the contestants must buy necessities from an in-house shop charging sky-high prices, even for simple pleasures like coffee, which could set them back hundreds of pounds.

Each purchase chips away at the ultimate prize money, compelling the influencers to collaborate in order to save as much cash as they can, reports the Mirror.

This season featured twelve competitors who left a lasting mark. As we bid farewell to this enthralling series, let's look back at the top five most memorable moments from Inside Season 2.

5. 'You can call me D'

Kicking off our list at number five, and perhaps the most cringe-worthy moment for footie enthusiasts, was when rapper DDG (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry) encountered a football legend.

Ex-Manchester United ace Patrice Evra made his way into the Inside House just as the rapper did.

Regrettably for Patrice, DDG was clueless about his identity and even asked: "You one of the contestants?"

Evra graciously introduced himself by his first name, yet this didn't help DDG recognise the famed footballer's status.

The social media sensation, previously linked to actress Halle Bailey, unveiled his identity, mentioning: "[My name is] DDG, you can call me D."

The incident stirred up quite the buzz online, but DDG later asserted that he wasn't aware of the athlete's fame as he doesn't follow football.

4. Spidergate

Reality TV star Whitney Adebayo, known from Love Island, experienced an I'm A Celeb-style scare during the first episode.

The podcaster faced a task that involved answering queries with a live tarantula spider on her head.

Despite the 27-year-old's initial courage, she ultimately backed out before managing to tackle a single question.

Her withdrawal resulted in dramatic cash loss for the team, but her reaction was undeniably relatable.

3. Lemongate

In the countdown's third spot is Patrice's notorious 'lemongate' encounter. During the third episode, the sportsman was left flabbergasted by the price tag of a lemon from the in-show store.

Before they could even eat it, his fellow contestant Farah Shams prompted producers to confirm the price, prompting Patrice to quip in jest: "If you say £100 I'll break the camera."

His disbelief only intensified when the producers disclosed the actual cost at an eye-watering £500, sparking his incredulous response: "Are you mad? Take back your lemon!"

The video has been making the rounds on the internet, with numerous fans hailing the 43-year-old as one of this season's funniest participants.

2. PK Humble strikes gold

In second place is PK Humble's fortunate run in the final. During a challenge named The Pyramid Scheme, the TikTok sensation managed to avoid elimination twice.

The game involves a randomly chosen player selecting an unmarked pyramid that conceals either 'safe' or 'eliminated.'

They must then inform another player what word is inside the box, either lying or telling the truth to persuade the other player to take the box or leave it with its original holder.

If the other player decides to leave the box, its initial owner will face the fate written inside it.

PK was chosen to pick a pyramid twice consecutively and selected 'safe' boxes both times. His strategy was commendable, opting for honesty with his rivals in both rounds and still managing to remain safe.

Even the sidemen were taken aback by PK's fortune. Ultimately, he secured a spot in the final three.

1. The final split

Claiming the top spot for this season's most memorable moment is the final split-or-steal scene between winners Cinna Brit, Mya Mills, and PK Humble.

Each of the trio was given two briefcases, one labelled 'split' and the other 'steal'. The only way for all three contestants to walk away with the prize money was if they all chose the 'split' case.

Despite the high-stakes situation, the trio had faith in each other and their trust was not misplaced. They eventually decided to divide the £293,672K equally, resulting in each of them pocketing a cool £97,891.

Inside is streaming now on Netflix.
