BGT child dancer Aidan Davis almost unrecognisable 15 years later after transformation
Aidan Davis was just 12 years old when he wowed Britain's Got Talent viewers with his street dance skills back in 2009.
Britain's Got Talent's child sensation Aidan Davis has undergone a dramatic transformation, 15 years on from charming the nation with his street dancing prowess on the ITV competition.
Back when he was a wide-eyed 12 year old in 2009, Aidan danced his way to the finals of the competition, leaving judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Piers Morgan thoroughly impressed.
He vied for victory against talents like Susan Boyle - who suffered a minor stroke just last year - and the eventual champs Diversity, winning over viewers with his neat buzz cut and electrifying routines.
Aidan's raw talent shone through from the start, as he dazzled the judges and audience alike with his slick routine set to Flo Rida's banger Low in his audition.
Judge Amanda Holden was swept off her feet, admitting he "blew her away" and lauding his "superstar attitude", reports OK!.
Simon Cowell didn't hold back his praise either, saying: "I think you're better than any dancer on this show, you are super, super, super talented."
Aidan, who is from Birmingham, had no formal dance training under his belt, telling hosts Ant and Dec that he'd practise at home and eagerly "show his mum" each new move he perfected.
Although he was showered with standing ovations and felt the love from an adoring crowd, Aidan narrowly missed taking home the BGT title.
Fast forwarding to today and Aidan has bulked up into a gym fanatic who you could easily fail to recognise from his BGT youthful era. He's flaunting a stylish beard and chiselled body on his social profiles, posting videos of his intense fitness sessions including hefty deadlifts and squats.
In a recent post, Aidan said: "Strength is going up, body fat is coming down, and the realisation of how much I actually let myself go has finally kicked in."
Clearly buzzing with his progress, Aidan's updates brim with the pride of "actually moving some half decent weights again".
Aidan's workout videos not only showcase his fitness journey but also his love for tattoos. He flaunts a full sleeve on his right arm, along with an assortment of designs that adorn his chest and back.
Back in 2023, Aidan took to Instagram to share that he'd welcomed a baby with his partner Courtney.
She said: "Welcome to the world Poppy Davis 13/04/23 you have completed us. Absolute baby bubble."
Aidan kept it cool with just one word while sharing the sweet snap: "Gang".
Britain's Got Talent continues this Saturday at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
