White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt shares wedding photos - but trolls all say same thing

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, has been swamped with hateful comments by online trolls after sharing her wedding photos.

Karoline took to social media to drop a stunning array of images from her unforgettable nuptials with husband Nicolas Riccio, featuring moments alongside loved ones. The pair, who've stirred up some chatter over their 32-year age difference with Karoline at 27 and Nicolas at 59, appeared unfazed by any criticism leveled at their romance.

The beaming couple was snapped all dressed up, Karoline in a white wedding dress adorned with elaborate beading and sleeves, while Nicolas rocked a classic black tux. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, they savored every bit of joy, even showing off a neon light art piece declaring "The Riccios", as they shared a kiss underneath.

These glam shots captured their pure bliss. Yet, not everyone seemed taken with their public display of affection, with some critics heading straight to the comments section to lash out. One user said: "You and your dad look so sweet," while another chimed in with a similar vein: "She married her own father?"

A third harsh critic commented: "Y would you only post pix of u and ur father, but not ur husband on your own wedding day? ... creepy." Meanwhile, a fourth sniped: "How stupid is she that she doesnt know how to use an apostrophe in big neon lights? Is this why she supports the shutting down of the Dept of Education? She wants everyone to be as uneducated as her?"

Karoline recently spilled the beans about her romance with Nicolas on The Megyn Kelly Show. She affectionately said: "He is my greatest supporter, he's my best friend and he's my rock. He's built a very successful business himself so now he's fully supportive of me building my success in my career."

Karoline also reminisced about meeting Nicolas during her 2022 congressional campaign in New Hampshire. Despite securing the Republican nomination, she was defeated by Democrat Chris Pappas for the seat.

However, the campaign brought an array of benefits to both her personal and professional lives. She said: "A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband. I was speaking. We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love."

Karoline did admit that the age gap worried her a little at first, but that soon faded into insignificance. She continued: "I mean it's a very atypical love story but he's incredible. He's the father of my child and he's the best dad I could ever ask for. And he is so supportive, especially during a very chaotic period of life... I say, 'I walked into your life and it's been a circus ever since,' but God bless him because he's fully on board."
