Robert MacIntyre used to carry a mixed bag when he first started his professional career. However, since becoming a Titleist brand ambassador, the two-time PGA Tour winner carries a bag full of equipment from Titleist. The financial details of his deal with Titleist haven’t been publicly revealed. But from the club selection it appears, the left-handed Scottish International agreed to an 11-club deal with the OEM giant.
On top of his bag, Robert MacIntyre uses a Titleist TSR2 9° driver with an AD DI 7X shaft. While the lefty from Scotland is not a bomber off the tee – MacIntyre averages around 298.4 yards — he is one of the best to wield a driver on Tour.
Currently, the two-time PGA Tour winner ranks 9th in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee (+0.588), 44th in total driving, and 32nd in driving accuracy (fairway hit: 63.85%). TSR 2 is priced between $448 and $649 in the PGA Tour Superstore.

In Fairway Woods, he is using a TaylorMade AeroBurner (15°) at the Singapore Classic, moving away from the Titleist GT3 that was fitted with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8X shaft. Currently, his AeroBurner goes with a Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw White 85 TX shaft. He also carries a hybrid with him: TaylorMade Stealth 2 Rescue (19°) fitted with Graphite Design Tour AD DI 105X shaft.
For irons, he relies on Titleist 620 CB 4-9 irons. He uses a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 with it. MacIntyre’s ball-striking is as strong as his driving. The 28-year-old ranks 18th in SG: Approach to Green, 18th in hitting Greens in Regulation, and 5th in hitting approaches from 150-175 yards. The 620 CB is listed at $150 on the Titleist store.

What’s your perspective on:
Does MacIntyre's mix of Titleist and TaylorMade gear give him an edge on the PGA Tour?
Have an interesting take?
In the flatstick too, Robert MacIntyre made a change early this year. Currently, you will notice an Odyssey Ai-One #7S putter with the SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol 1.0 grip on it. Previously, he leveraged TaylorMade Spider Tour with the SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol grip. That’s the only club where he veers away from Titleist and picks TaylorMade. MacIntyre uses golfers’ favorite Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
These are equipment that allows MacIntyre to stay on top of his game. Now he is eyeing a spot in the Ryder Cup team for the Bethpage Black showdown. Will he be able to? It remains to be seen.
