Protest planned in Grand Forks following deadly crash
The “Protest for Justice” is set for noon Thursday outside of the Grand Forks County Courthouse.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A protest is planned for Thursday afternoon in Grand Forks in support of a family who lost their daughter to an alleged drunk driver.
The “Protest for Justice” is set for noon outside of the Grand Forks County Courthouse. Travis Bell is charged with criminal vehicular injury and criminal vehicular homicide in the case.
The June crash happened along Highway 2, near the Grand Forks Airport. It killed six-year-old Katarina Louthain and seriously hurt her mother, Nicole.
The family is asking the community to stand beside them. They say they’re fighting for justice and accountability so that no family has to know their pain.
