New shelters to ensure welfare

Bannerghatta Biological Park (BBP) has added three habitat shelters for giraffes, zebras, and tigers. The shelters have been constructed at a cost of Rs 9 lakh under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Mitsubishi Electric. The initiative was facilitated by Vibhinna India Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to environmental and wildlife conservation. The newly established shelters were inaugurated on Tuesday. These shelters are aimed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for the animals, ensuring their well-being and welfare in captivity.
