5K run to benefit Kiski Area track and field team

The Kiski Area Track and Field 5K Shamrock Run will begin at 10 a.m. March 22 at Kunkle Park, 285 Pine Run Church Road, Washington Township.

Stormwater management class offered March 26

The Armstrong Conservation District will host a free workshop about rain barrel and stormwater management from 6 to 8 p.m. March 26 in the office conference room, 124 Armsdale Road, suite 1, Rayburn Township.

Attendees must live in Armstrong County and will learn about rain barrels and other storm water management practices. Each person attending will receive a free rain barrel, one per household.

Free meal distribution planned at Knead Community Cafe

Knead Community Café will hand out free grab-and-go meals from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the cafe, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington.
