First National Bank's office in Crowley

Acadiana-based First National Bank of Louisiana will expand into the Baton Rouge and has named a market president.

Bank officials announced the move Monday to offer banking and lending services in the capital city and that Jordan Hultberg, a longtime banker with Red River Bank, will head up the market. No locations were announced.

FNB’s history dates back over 100 years in Crowley but now with locations in Lafayette, Lake Charles and Sulphur.

Hultberg will lead the operations after his recent position as senior vice president/commercial banker. He is a graduate of LSU and has 15 years of experience in the industry.

“Baton Rouge is a key market as FNB positions for long-term, strategic growth,” said FNB President Jim Lyons. “At FNB, it’s all about having the right people. That’s our differentiator and our competitive advantage in all the places we serve.”
