Screen Rant is excited to exclusively present a clip from Carpool Karaoke season 5, which is launching through Apple TV+ for the first time on May 27. What once began as a signature segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden has since evolved into a standalone series with four successful seasons as a joint Apple Music and CBS Television Studios collaboration.

Carpool Karaoke: The Series has won an Emmy for each of those four seasons, and now Apple TV+ is finally bringing it home for season 5, where it will join the platforms other premium content, which includes compelling drama series like Severance and comedies such as Ted Lasso, acclaimed feature films like the Best Picture Oscar winner CODA, groundbreaking documentaries, and entertainment for kids & families alike.

The 6-episode fifth season of Carpool Karaoke: The Series features a new crop of celebrity guest stars from diverse walks of life who are each ready to put their unique spin on the time-honored tradition of singing in the car. Stars embarking on personal playlist adventure this season include Simu Liu (Shang-Chi) and Jessica Henwick (The Matrix Resurrections); White Lotus costars Murray Bartlett, Alexandra Daddario, and Sydney Sweeney; music superstars Anitta & Saweetie; real-life lovebirds Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, who first met on Carpool Karaoke; an incredible line-up of All Elite Wrestling stars; and the members of the D’Amelio family. Additional episodes will debut later this year.

Over the course of the episode, the action star pair will trade Y2K musical throwbacks, with Simu Liu drawing on his boy-band past to pull out some showstopping Backstreet Boys tunes and more. Any fan of either actor, or of pop music from the turn of the millennium, should be sure to turn in for what promises to be the musical adventure of a lifetime.

Not only has Carpool Karaoke: The Series racked up its fair share of Emmys, but it has also been the recipient of multiple Producers Guild Awards and a Critics Choice Award, reflecting it's commitment to entertainment that its of top-notch quality regardless of where and how it's being aired.
