International Coal Files $600 Million Mixed Shelf
December 21, 2009 (FinancialWire) — International Coal Group, Inc. (NYSE: ICO) said it has filed a shelf registration statement on form S-3 with the Securities and Exchange Commission to allow ICG to raise up to an aggregate of $600 million through the sale of equity or debt, through one or more offerings.
Pursuant to the shelf registration statement filed with the SEC, the net proceeds from the sale of any securities to be registered thereunder will be used for general corporate purposes which may include funding working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions, refinancing indebtedness or other capital transactions.
