HSBC Malta’s flagship banking centre in Qormi has completed an extensive refurbishment, with customers offered a new VIP lounge and meeting rooms with various amenities.

The official opening was attended by guests from the business community and representatives from the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, Malta Enterprise, Trade Malta, GRTU, Malta Union of Bank Employees, General Workers Union and other commercial entities.

HSBC Head of Commercial Banking for Continental Europe Andrew C Wild travelled to Malta to attend the event and reiterated the bank’s commitment to the business community of the country.

HSBC Malta CEO Andrew Beane said the bank wanted to grow its business in the corporate sector.

“I am delighted we can welcome our valued customers into a world-class suite of meeting rooms to discuss how we can grow together for mutual benefit,” he said.

Student offers

The bank has also launched its 2018 student campaigns, with all new student accounts opened between June 1 and October 31 receiving €50 in credit, free mobile and internet banking, a fee-free international debit card and discounted fees on ATM withdrawals from non-HSBC banks.

To qualify for the free €50 credit, students must have a stipend deposited into their HSBC account in November 2018.
