That is because it is called “Echo Ridge.” Echo Ridge is Colter’s home town.
The synopsis is, “Colter returns to Echo Ridge to investigate a diner owner’s disappearance only to uncover a decades-old kidnapping and a shocking family secret.”
Does this mean that there will be a Shaw family reunion? Very possibly. Earlier this year, Justin Hartley was asked about Melissa Roxburgh and Jensen Ackles returning to the CBS adventure series. They portray Colter Shaw’s sister Dory and bother Russell. He hinted that they were written into the series. However, he did not elaborate.
However, in a new interview with Wendy Crewson, who plays Colter’s mother, Mary Dove Shaw, she shares a hint of what is is to come. Speaking to Digital Journal to promote Great American Family’s When Hope Calls Season 2, Crewson talked a bit about the finale.
