BOISE (Idaho Statesman) — UPDATE: YouTube TV and Paramount agreed upon a short-term extension to keep Paramount channels, including CBS Sports Network, on the streaming service while negotiations continue.

Boise State basketball fans who use YouTube TV to watch the Broncos likely will need to find a new way to watch starting as soon as this weekend.

On Thursday evening, all Paramount-owned channels, including CBS Sports Network, were set to be removed from YouTube TV due to a contract dispute between YouTube and Paramount.

Boise State’s next two men’s basketball games will air on CBS Sports Network: Saturday night’s road game against San Diego State (9-4 in Mountain West play) and Wednesday’s home matchup against New Mexico (13-1). Boise State is 9-4.

CBS Sports and the Mountain West remain tied into a deal through the 2025-26 school year, meaning CBS is the primary television rights holder for Mountain West conference games. TOP VIDEOS Boise State basketball has played seven games on CBS or CBS Sports Network this season, not including the two games in the next week.

The football team also played four games on CBS Sports Network this past season. CBS Sports Network will also air the quarterfinals onward of the men’s Mountain West Tournament next month. What other options are there to watch Boise State?

Fortunately for Boise State fans, there are other options to get CBS Sports Network. CBS Sports Network will still be available on the following cable television and streaming services. While some providers have cheaper options, the prices listed below are for the lowest-cost plans that offer CBS Sports

Network: DirecTV Stream – $129.99 per month

DISH Network – $106.99 per month

fuboTV – $59.99 for the first month, $84.99 per month after the first month

Hulu+ Live TV – $95.99 per month

Spectrum – Requires a Sparklight internet modem or a Sparklight TV modem for $10.50 per month, plus $16 per month for the Digital Value Pack.

Although YouTube TV has been telling customers to download Paramount+, according to CBS, the streaming service does not offer CBS Sports Network, making it useless for fans wanting Boise State games. Fans can also stream CBS Sports Network online with the login of a qualifying provider, such as DISH, AT&T U-verse, or Spectrum.
