The second largest ice-cream manufacturer in India --- Vadilal Industries Ltd --- reported a 29 per cent increase in net profit for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024 of the current financial year.
The Ahmedabad-based company that has an ice-cream production capacity of over 6.25 lakh litres per day reported a consolidated net profit of ₹11.93 crore. The revenue from operations also grew by 17 per cent to almost ₹204 crore for the October-December quarter for the company

During the last nine months of this financial year, the PAT of the company has risen by 8.5 per cent to ₹128 crore, while its revenues have grown by over 10 per cent to ₹963 crore. With a production capacity of 13 lakh cones per day, Vadilal is one of the largest players in the cones, cups and candy categories. Currently the brand’s ice cream production facilities are located at Pundhra in Gandhinagar district, Gujarat and the other at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
