Carnival PLC (CUK, Financial) declined to $45.71

The prices of Carnival PLC (CUK, Financial) shares have declined to $45.71 on July 5, which is only 4.5% above the 3-year low of $43.67.

Carnival PLC is a British-American cruise operator and currently the world’s largest travel leisure company. The company has a combined fleet of over 100 vessels across 10 cruise line brands. The company is composed of two companies, Carnival Corporation and Carnival PLC, which function as one entity. The company is the only company in the world to be listed on both the S&P 500 and FTSE 100 indexes.

Carnival PLC has a market cap of $32.37 billion; its shares were traded around $45.71 with a P/E ratio of 10.87 and P/S ratio of 1.65. Adjusted net income for the quarter was $457 million, or $0.66 adjusted earnings per share, compared to adjusted net income of $489 million, or $0.68 adjusted earnings per share, for the same quarter prior year.

The prices of BT Group PLC (BT, Financial) shares have declined to $12.72 on July 5, which is only 3.0% above the 3-year low of $12.34.

BT Group PLC is a British international telecommunication holding company that operates in more than 180 countries. The company is one of the largest providers of fixed-line, broadband, and mobile services in the United Kingdom and is also a component of the FTSE 100.

BT Group PLC has a market cap of $24.74 billion; its shares were traded around $12.72 with a P/E ratio of 8.62 and P/S ratio of 3.50. The trailing 12-month dividend yield of BT Group PLC stocks is 7.62%. The forward dividend yield of BT Group PLC stocks is 7.55%.

On June 28 BT Group PLC announced that Leena Nair is joining the BT Board as a non-executive director and as a member of the Remuneration Committee, the Nominations Committee, and the Digital Impact & Sustainability Committee. The appointment will be effect on July 10. Nair has been the Chief Human Resources Officer at Unilever since March of 2016 where she has responsibility for the global people agenda for the company’s 160,000 employees. Nair has also been a non-executive director of the UK Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy since 2018.

Sasol Ltd. (SSL, Financial) declined to $24.42

The prices of Sasol Ltd. (SSL, Financial) shares have declined to $24.42 on July 5, which is only 2.0% above the 3-year low of $23.92.

Sasol Ltd. is a South African international integrated energy and chemical company. The company focuses on developing and commercializing synthetic fuels and produces different liquid fuels, chemicals, and electricity. The company is the largest corporate taxpayer in South Africa and one of the country’s largest state-owned enterprises.

Sasol Ltd. has a market cap of $15.35 billion; its shares were traded around $24.42 with a P/E ratio of 12.87 and P/S ratio of 1.16. The trailing 12-month dividend yield of Sasol Ltd. stocks is 4.02%. The forward dividend yield of Sasol Ltd. stocks is 4%. Sasol Ltd. had an annual average earnings growth of 2.80% over the past 10 years.

On July 5 Sasol Ltd. officially inaugurated its new Shodoni colliery in Mpumalanga as part of its R14 billion mine replacement program. Shodoni replaces Middelbult Colliery, which has reached the end of its lifespan. The Shodoni mine replacement program supports the company’s strategy to operate its southern African facilities until 2050.

AGNC Investment Corp. (AGNC, Financial) declined to $17.00

The prices of AGNC Investment Corp. (AGNC, Financial) shares have declined to $17.00 on July 5, which is only 4.8% above the 3-year low of $16.19.

AGNC Investment Corp. is an American internally managed mortgage real estate investment trust that focuses on investing in agency mortgage backed securities on a leveraged basis. The company generates income from the interest earned on their investment assets, net of associated borrowing and hedging costs, and net realized gains and losses on their investments.

AGNC Investment Corp. has a market cap of $9.12 billion; its shares were traded around $17.00 with a P/E ratio of 1700.00 and P/S ratio of 55.36. The trailing 12-month dividend yield of AGNC Investment Corp. stocks is 12.48%. The forward dividend yield of AGNC Investment Corp. stocks is 11.39%.

On June 12 AGNC Investment Corp. announced that the company’s Board of Directors has declared cash dividends of $0.484375, $0.43750, and $0.4296875 on its Series B, Series C, and Series D stock, respectively. The dividends will be paid on July 15 to stockholders of record at the close of business on July 1.
