Larson Electronics LLC Releases Explosion Proof 10-Amp Single Mushroom Push Button Switch

KEMP, Texas, July 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics LLC, has released a double push button switch rated for Class I, Division 1 and 2, and Class II, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations such as chemical plants and oil refineries. This 10-amp device allows operators to control basic features in machines that do not have electrical circuits for control.

EPS-PB10-DPDT Main
The Larson Electronics EPS-PB10-DPDT explosion proof single push button switch is designed for use in hazardous work areas, such as chemical plants, oil refineries and settings where combustible gases or dust may be present.


EPS-PB10-DPDT Front
This 10-amp device features the following explosion proof ratings: Class I Division 1 and 2; and Class II Division 1 and 2. In industrial and commercial settings.


EPS-PB10-DPDT Push Button
The front-operated DPDT push button switch may be used to support basic features of machines lacking electrical circuits for control.


EPS-PB10-DPDT Back
When ordering this unit, buyers may choose from 1/2" and 3/4", dead end and feed thru options.


The EPS-PB10-DPDT from Larson Electronics is an explosion proof single push button switch rated at 10-amps and operates on 600V AC with a choice of ½” inch or ¾” hub sizes for easy connection. This single push button features a switch configuration of 2 normally open and 2 normally closed. This device is double-pole, double-throw.

This explosion proof single push button switch features sturdy and durable construction that will withstand the wear and tear of harsh industrial environments. The device itself is enclosed in a separate sealing chamber which has smooth double flanges mated with the chamber cover and the mount via stainless steel hex head screws, making the joints flame-tight. The switch side rocker arm push button has lockout holes and includes an internal ground screw. The outer exterior of this push button switch is built with copper-free aluminum finished with aluminum acrylic paint.
