Bulgaria to invest in border region with Serbia

The Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works has announced plans to invest 12.2 million euro in the border region that Bulgaria shares with Serbia.

Funds will go to finance projects for enhancing the appeal of the region for tourism or creating a cross-border tourist product, for environmental protection, acquisition of new skills and entrepreneurship in the cross-border region.
