Deborah L. Brankle

Deborah Lee Brankle, 58, of Marion, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at 7:09 a.m.

Mrs. Brankle graduated from Huntington North High School in 1977 and attended Ball State University. In 2011, she retired from First Federal Savings Bank in Huntington after 16 years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Community Church in Fort Wayne.

She was born July 30, 1959, in Huntington to Richard L. and Janet Baker Albertson. Her father survives in Huntington. She married Dean Brankle on July 23, 2005 in Marion, and he also survives.

Additional survivors include four sons, Eric Hoover, of Markle; Aaron Hoover, of Marion; Dane Brankle, of West Lafayette; and Dash (Krista) Brankle, of Ballston Spa, NY; four daughters, Stephanie (Jonathan) Martin, of Marion; Elizabeth (Macy) McClellan, of Roanoke; Kelcey (Dan) Patterson, of Downington, PA; and Reagan Brankle, of Bloomington; four brothers, Dennis (Cynthia) Albertson, of Hamilton, and Jeff (Deanna) Albertson, Tim (Tiffany) Albertson and Harold (Danielle) Albertson, all of Huntington; and six grandchildren, Grace McClellan, Blakely McClellan, Jaxon Martin, Matthew Martin, Ollivander Hoover and Elliott Brankle.

Calling is Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at 10 a.m. the church, preceded by one hour of visitation. Rev. Bob Bruce will officiate. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Huntington County.
