Party, a new release from Vybz Kartel, has made the top 10 of the iTunes listing of reggae albums, holding the number nine spot early yesterday. Among the tracks on the set are Poco Man Skank, Keep Him, High School Dropout and Taxi. The release date listed is December 8.

Another new release, Tosh Alexander's EP An Island Christmas with Tosh & Friends, is reaping the benefits of the season and is at number 23. The songs on that set are Silent Night, This Christmas (featuring Christopher Martin), Oh Holy Night (featuring Romain Virgo) and Silent Night (a cappella).

The Kartel set apart, the top 10 has the usual faces, though not in the accustomed positions. Tribal Seeds' Roots Party is number one, ahead of Legend (Remastered) by Bob Marley and the Wailers, with Chronixx's Chronology third. Poetry in Motion (SOJA) in fourth is just ahead of the other Legend album, the Deluxe Edition.

The second half of the top 10 begins with Set in Stone (Stick Figure), with Rebelution's Falling Into Place in seventh. Damian Marley's Stony Hill places before the Kartel set and another Bob Marley and the Wailers album, Gold, wraps up the top 10.

The Harder They Come (Remastered) continues to enjoy a good run, popping up at number 16. Twenty years after being released, Too Experienced - The Best of Barrington Levy is also experiencing a good run and has made it to the number 22 slot.

Buju Banton's Til Shiloh is at number 28 and Protoje's Ancient Future comes in at number 31, with Beres Hammond's Can't Stop a Man at number 42. While Jr Gong and Chronixx's currently Grammy-nominated sets are in the top 10, J Boog's Reggae Grammy entry Wash House Ting is at position number 42.

'Tis the season to be jolly, and another Yuletide set is at number 48 in Natty Christmas by the late Jacob Miller, featuring Ray I and Inner Circle.
