Haemonetics Corp. (HAE) reported second quarter EPS of $0.48 Tuesday morning, compared to $0.46 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.41.
Haemonetics gapped up and spiked higher at the open Tuesday, but settled into a range for the majority of the day. The stock closed up by 4.68 at $51.51 with volume at a 9-month high. The stock broke out of a 1-month trading range and set a new high for the year.
